At CalmNest, we want you to love your purchase. This Returns & Refund Policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa and outlines your rights and our obligations.


📦 7-Day Cooling-Off Period (Online Orders)

In terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you may cancel your online order within 7 days of receiving the product, without providing a reason.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused
  • In its original packaging
  • In a resalable condition

Please note:
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.


⚠️ Defective or Faulty Products

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, all products carry a 6-month implied warranty.

If your product is defective, unsafe, or not of acceptable quality, you are entitled to:

  • A repair
  • A replacement
  • Or a full refund

This applies only if the product has not been:

  • Misused
  • Damaged after delivery
  • Altered in any way

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they are defective:

  • Used or opened products (for hygiene reasons)
  • Items not in original packaging
  • Products damaged due to misuse

💳 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, CalmNest will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days
  • Funds will be returned via your original payment method

🔁 Exchanges

At CalmNest, we only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

If you need an exchange, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.


🚚 Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as CalmNest cannot guarantee receipt of returned items
